BBC Radio 2 Breakfast Show - Sporting Challenge

In August 2010, CircArts' Lila Lifely helped BBC Radio 2's breakfast show hosts Chris and Johnny to learn circus skills. Watch the video!

Dulwich College Preparatory School

CircArts has been working with Dulwich College for five years. CircArts provides all the equipment and coaching for an intensive one day circus skills workshop for the college's year 8 pupils as part of their post-Common Entrance programme.

The boys are taught skills ranging from plate spinning and diabolo to stilt walking and rolla-bolla. Eventually they all develop a routine in their favourite area. The day culminates in a performance to younger pupils from a different section of the school. David Adkins, director of communications at Dulwich College says, "I have always been impressed by the calm and measured way that Lila and her assistants have dealt with the boys. The quality of teaching and learning and the standard of the shows produced are very high and I look forward to continuing the workshops in the future."

Normand Park Celebrations

CircArts have been producing and programming the Normand Park Celebrations for several years now.

Charles Voss from Friends of Normand Park says, "Our wonderful opening event in the summer of 2008 was the best yet and we look forward to working with CircArts again in the future. Lila Lifely brings energy, enthusiasm and ideas to the process of devising creative, inclusive events that are tailored to our needs and community and specific to our park."
