Circus instructor Lila LIfely teaching circus skills to school childrenCircArts was established by Lila Lifely in 2000. Lila is an experienced circus artist and instructor with a background in youth work and project coordination.  As an aerialist, Lila has performed all over Europe with companies including Wango’s Touring Circus, Concussion Aerial Theatre, Exponential Aerial Theatre, her own company Aerial Enterprise, as well as at numerous other events in the air or on stilts.  Trained with Cirque du Soleil’s social and education programme 'Cirque du Monde' in Belgium and Canada, Lila also has a professional certificate in Youth Arts Development from Goldsmith’s college London.  She is a qualified first aider and risk assessor.


Circus instructor Flo MoynehanLorraine (Flo) Moynehan  worked as a professional dancer and later trained as an aerialist. Since 2001 Flo has worked with CircArts teaching tight wire, trapeze and dance, as well as general circus skills. In addition to working on youth projects, Flo regularly works devising the aerial aspects of theatre shows. This has included working with Proteus Theatre company on Peter Pan, The Elephant Man and Below Zero, Kneehigh for Nights at the Circus and English National Ballet for Trapeze. Uniquely, she is the only international female Elvis impersonator on trapeze in The Swingin’ Elvises.


Circus instructor Michelle LettmanAfter spending a couple of decades ‘bouncing around’ performing and competing as a trampolinist, Michelle Lettman has worked with CircArts since 2005.  Michelle specialises in working with younger age groups and is a British Gymnastics qualified trampoline coach and acrobatic teacher. As a generalist circus skills trainer Michelle always brings great enthusiasm, energy, and masses of fun into her workshops.

 


Circus instructor Adam CohenAdam Cohen started teaching circus skills shortly after learning to juggle aged 11 while spending a week at home ill. In 2001 Adam completed a BA in Circus Theatre at The Circus Space , the UK’s leading circus school, and found a passion for acrobatics. Adam went on to qualify as a British Gymnastics Coach, and joined CircArts in 2003 as a general circus skills teacher specialising in juggling and acrobatics. Adam has worked and trained with Cirque du Soleil’s Cirque du Monde social education program and also teaches at The Circus Space.


Circus instructor Jenni GoodwinJenni Goodwin works for CircArts as a performer, costume maker and workshop leader.  As a performance artist, she specialises in stilt walking, fire juggling and balloon modelling. She is an experienced workshop leader and has worked with a range of companies around the world including Cirque du Monde, Cardboard Citizens, and the Heightened State Circus Street Project in South Africa.
